London Brutalist Edition (Pre-order)
This special edition features the icons of Brutalist architecture in London.
Featuring a selection of the raw concrete architectural forms of the movement, which were built around the city in the mid 20th century.
In this set we've cast Cromwell Tower from the Barbican Centre as the King, and Centrepoint as the Queen. Petty France plays the Bishop, with the instantly recognisable Trellick tower as Knight. One Kemble street is cast as the Rook and the Pawns feature the terraced housing of the Alexandra Road Estate in north London.
Each piece is hand-cast in resin in the UK. The screen-printed Corian playing board features the window fenestrations from Centre Point and One Kemble Street, both designed by the architect George Marsh.
Each set and board comes in its own presentation box.
